This Piece features another artist, Shadae Nichole, and I was inspired to make this piece because at the time I was very attracted to her and It got to a point where I was thinking about her all the time despite never actually meeting her; we would only talk on social media. I was desperately trying to make it out the friendzone without thinking about what I was getting myself into. Many have tried to holla at her and failed so I thought to myself, “how am I any different from them? What do I even have to offer? What would I gain if I succeeded?”. I realized that I was only running towards her because I didn’t wanna be alone with my own problems; I was only able to figure that out by creating this piece.
